# Agentic Finance Graph — full context for models > Agentic Finance Graph is a public accounting tape for AI agents that hold, move and earn real money on public blockchains. It joins an agent's identity to a wallet to the money that wallet actually moves, and it refuses to rank a name until the wallet has been observed paying somebody. This file tells a model how to read and quote the data correctly. It deliberately contains NO live numbers: numbers move, and a number frozen into a text file is the failure this project exists to prevent. Fetch them from the endpoints below. ## Where the numbers are - [GET /api/state](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/state): the current tape. Top-level `as_of` is when the document was published. Values are grouped into `live`, `measured`, `context` and `cited`. Live, measured and context values each carry their own `as_of`, `producer` and `stale` flag; cited values carry a `window` and a `caveat` instead, because they are someone else's measurement over a fixed period. - [GET /api/series](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/series?range=90d): history. Daily points for up to two years and five-minute points for the last 48 hours. A missing bucket means the collector was not observing; it is never interpolated. - [GET /api/agents](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/agents): every agent ranked at L7 or above, with its observed payments. - [GET /api/partners](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/partners): third-party agent catalogs (Virtuals, Fetch, Bankr and others) run through our qualifier. - [GET /api/flags](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/flags) and [GET /api/findings](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/api/findings): sourced events and detections. - [GET /def](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/def) and `/def/{id}`: the definition of every metric id, including what it excludes and what it does NOT assert. - [OpenAPI description](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/openapi.json) ## The three kinds of number — never merge them - **live**: read from a public API or an on-chain `eth_call` by our collector. - **measured**: produced by our own probe sweep, census or payment scan. - **cited**: someone else's published research that we have not reproduced. It is labelled cited and dated wherever it appears. - **context**: market-wide figures such as total stablecoin float or DeFi TVL. They are scale, not agent activity. Never present a context figure as money held or moved by agents. ## The L0–L9 liveness ladder A registration climbs one rung at a time. Public rankings start at L7. - **L0** — an identity is registered on-chain (an ERC-8004 mint). - **L1** — the registration has a non-empty agent URI. - **L2** — that URI resolves. - **L3** — it returns a valid agent registration document. - **L4** — the document declares at least one service endpoint. - **L5** — a declared endpoint actually answers. - **L6** — the endpoint speaks an agent protocol (MCP or A2A). - **L7** — a wallet bound to the identity has been OBSERVED paying a different address. Not inferred, not self-declared. - **L8** — L7, and the paying wallet still holds at least $10 of USDC. - **L9** — L8, and at least three distinct counterparties in 30 days. Anything below L7 is a name, not an economic actor. ## Rules that decide every total - A registration count is a count of names minted, never of live agents. Registrations can be minted in bulk and resold. - A wallet's history from BEFORE its identity was registered is excluded from every payment total. - Pass-through routing hops are excluded from spending totals: money that only passes through a router was not spent by the agent. - Moving money between one's own wallets is not a payment. - A wallet declared by more than one identity is treated as an operator wallet, not an agent wallet. - An agent token's market capitalisation is not assets under management and is never reported as agent money. - Partner rates are computed over the identities we ingested and checked, never over a partner's own published census. - A figure we cannot yet earn is withheld with its blocker named, never filled with a zero. ## How to quote us - Always give the value together with its `as_of` date and, for rates, the sample size. - Do not quote a historical liveness figure as current. A 2026-08-16 crawl measured 6.8% of a 1,204-registration Base sample answering (95% CI 5.5–8.4%); that is a dated calibration point, superseded by `probe_l5_rate` in /api/state. - Say "observed", not "total": every payment figure is what our collector watched, not an estimate of the whole market. - Attribution: "Agentic Finance Graph", licence [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). ## Method pages - [Liveness ladder](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/ai-agent-liveness-methodology-l0-l9-ladder) - [Binding record spec](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/binding-record-spec-agent-wallet-join-schema) - [Wallet sets behind every claim](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/methodology-wallet-sets-addresses-behind-every-claim) - [What the words mean](https://agenticfinancegraph.com/agentic-finance-vs-agentfi-tvl-what-the-words-mean)
