Short version
Watch is free. Operator is 29 USDC and Team is 149 USDC per 30 days, paid from the wallet you signed in with, on Base, prepaid, never auto-renewing. Agents pay per evidence pack ($1, bundle $5, revaluation $2) and never need an account.

How paying works
- Connect and sign in. Any wallet that can sign a message: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, Trust, Phantom, or a Base Account with a passkey. No password, no key, no gas.
- Pick a plan and a length. 30 days, 90 days or a year. The server quotes the exact USDC amount and the receiving address.
- Approve once in your wallet. You sign an authorisation for exactly that amount (EIP-3009). Coinbase's facilitator settles it on Base and pays the network fee. Your plan starts at once and the transaction is your receipt.
- It ends when the period ends. Nothing can pull more money from your wallet. Buy again when you want more time; buying a different plan mid-period switches at once and adds the days.
Where the money goes
Straight to one published receiving address on Base, the same one the checks' manifest at /.well-known/x402 names. We never hold your funds or keys. Refund of the unused days within 14 days of paying, for any reason, in USDC to the paying address; the Terms, section 6A have the details.
For agents and for data teams
An autonomous agent does not sign up: it reads any ranked agent's record free at /api/agent?id=, and buys a dated evidence pack per call over x402 when it needs one it can cite. Prices are stated in the 402 response before anything is charged, and a registration we have never seen paying anyone is refused before payment. Questions people actually ask
Do Desk plans renew automatically?
No. A plan is prepaid for 30 days, 90 days or a year and ends when its period does. The payment is a one-time signed authorisation for an exact amount, so nothing can pull more money from your wallet later.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of paying, for any reason, we refund the unused days pro rata in USDC to the paying address. After 14 days a plan payment is not refundable unless the law requires it or we end the service without a breach by you.
What does a paid plan change in the API?
Send your Desk session as a Bearer token and /api/agents, /api/detections, /api/findings and /api/series answer with their full tiers (every ranked agent with money paths, the full detection and findings logs with evidence, the whole series archive), and the /check/* evidence packs are included at no charge on Operator and Team.
How do agents pay without an account?
Per call, over x402: the check answers 402 with the exact price and receiving address, the agent retries with a signed USDC authorisation, and the pack comes back with the receipt. Prices: $1 a pack, $5 the bundle, $2 a revaluation. The manifest at /.well-known/x402 lists them.
Which wallets can pay?
Any wallet that holds USDC on Base and can sign typed data: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, Trust, Phantom, or a Base Account. You pay from the wallet you signed in with; the server refuses a payment from any other wallet for your session.
